Founded on May 19, 1990, China Textile Machinery Association (abbreviated to CTMA) is a social economic group constituted voluntarily by the manufacturers, enterprises and scientific research institutes in the textile machinery and accessories industry of China. Being a social legal person, CTMA is the only nationwide professional association in the textile machinery industry of China as well as a trans-regional and trans-departmental organization of the whole industry comprising various economic compositions.
The aim of CTMA is to serve the common interests of enterprises, to defend the legal rights and behalf of the members, to promote the technical progress, to update the modernization of management and to accelerate the development of the whole industry.
At present, CTMA is possessed of 515 member enterprises and 14 specialized commissions.
